The South Muskoka Hospital Auxiliary is inviting kids to bring in their stuffed animalsĀ for a check up.
This Saturday, the hospital staff will be taking in these fuzzy and precious patients as a way for kids to learn going to the doctor doesn’t have to be a scary experience.
Auxiliary Fundraising Chair Nancy Baker says it doesn’t completely take that fear away, but it does help.
Baker says this kids program was shelved a while back, but the new auxiliary president decided to bring it back to get more involved with the community.
The Best Bud Clinic runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm and you must register your child by the end of today by calling 705-645-0382.
