BMLSS student looks to healthcare career with the help of a scholarship

Struggles with mental health and high school stresses have not been enough to keep one Bracebridge student from succeeding in life.
BMLSS student Emma Palmer has won a $5,000 scholarship from the Horatio Alger Association of Canada.
Palmer says she plans on pursuing a career in the healthcare field and this grant will help that dream become a reality.
Palmer is only one of 85 students nationwide that have received this scholarship, which is given to students that have overcome great adversity in their lives.
