Parents in Honey Harbour will have one last chance to make a case to keep the local public school open.
Next Tuesday, the Trillium Lakelands District School Board Accommodation Review Committee will be meeting with the public to talk about the future of the Honey Harbour Public School.
A board report shows the school has been suffering from a drop in enrollment and it could be closed before September.
The Board of Trustees for Trillium Lakelands hasn’t agreed to close the school yet, so it could still be saved.
After this meeting, the ARC will speak with the trustees to help them come to a decision.
The public meeting starts at 6:30pm at the Baxter Ward Community Centre in Port Severn.
