The man charged in connection to the human remains found in McDougall Township is now dead.
West Parry Sound OPP is reporting the incident happened shortly after he was arrested.
Officials did not release details on how the accused died.
Details of his charges have also not been released and the identity of the body found has not been identified.
Anyone with information about this incident is being asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
