Gravenhurst butcher selling products at a loss to pay Hydro bill raises a lot of concerns

A Gravenhurst butcher is selling product at a loss to help pay his Hydro bill. On a recent Facebook post, Muskoka Meats owner Dave Purdon said his most recent bill was almost $1,800, and he was selling frozen products at half price to cover it.

Deputy Mayor of Gravenhurst, Jeff Watson, says this raises a lot of concerns.

Watson says the town would welcome an opportunity to speak with Veridian to see what can be done to get the province working on lowering the costs a lot quicker.
