A Bracebridge official wants to see more safety measures set up at a dangerous intersection.
The MTO recently informed town officials it would be moving forward with reducing the speed limit on Highway 118 from 80km/h to 60km/h at the Highway 11 intersection.
Deputy Mayor Rick Maloney says the speed change is welcome, but the intersection still needs more.
Maloney says he is also disappointed to see the speed change was not stretched all the way to the Gravenhurst Parkway.
There have been at least two deaths and numerous collisions at the 118 and Highway 11 intersection.
