The Ryde Community Co-op is giving thanks to the Town of Gravenhurst with interest.
On Thursday, the town was presented with the first of five loan repayments.
Last year, the town came to the aid of the Ryde board as it was attempting to purchase its community centre from the TLDSB.
Now the board has paid back its first payment of over $5,200 loan and interest.
Deputy Mayor Jeff Watson was on hand to take the payment and says the town was very happy to help this cause.
