Icy roads are causing some school bus cancellations in Muskoka today. The following routes are cancelled:
The Nippissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services have cancelled all buses to:
- Mactier, Humphrey, Rosseau
- East Parry Sound South – South of Hwy 522
- South River/Sundridge
- Burk’s Falls/Magnetawan
- Katrine/Emsdale/Kearney/
Sprucedale/Novar - Town of Parry Sound
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board have also cancelled all buses to schools in Muskoka today.
This includes all buses to Honey Harbour Public School, St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School, Monsignor Michael O’Leary, Saint Mary and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Elementary School.
Muskoka Christian school and Muskoka Montessori School are closed today.
All Georgian College campuses and the Barrie employment center are now temporarily closed on Tuesday, Jan. 17. However, the college hopes to reopen later today when weather improves. Staff, students and visitors should monitor georgiancollege.ca for updates.
The V.O.N. Smart Exercise class and Brcaebridge Senior Centre card games have been cancelled for today as well.
