Reporting minor crimes in Muskoka can now be done online.
The OPP says citizen self-reporting has rolled out across Ontario.
Officials say it’s easy to use, and can be accessed from a computer or mobile device and sent directly to the OPP anywhere, anytime.
Constable Tim Negus says the new system is completely optional, and police will still attend a call for services if desired.
The online reporting allows residents to report crimes like lost property, stolen license plates, thefts, driving complaints and property damage.
