The recent EQAO scores for Trillium Lakelands District School Board and the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board has some parents concerned.
The scores show understanding of math is on the decline both in elementary school and high schools.
Moose FM spoke with a few parents in Muskoka about their thoughts on this dip in standardized testing.
Both school boards have promised to take an active role in seeking out the problem area when it comes to students understanding math.
Officials indicate the problem is not centralized to Muskoka, but is actually province-wide.
