Muskoka Lakes Chamber President steps aside due to marijuana trafficking charges

Cal White has stepped aside as President of the Board of Directors of the Muskoka Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
White made this decision after he was charged with illegal marijuana trafficking through his medical marijuana dispensary Legacy 420 on the Wahta Mohawk Territory.
An official release from the chamber notes that his dispensary is not alone, with other businesses being shut down across the province.
Chamber officials say this is due to the lack of legal framework for production and distribution of marijuana.
According to details, this move is only temporary while White deals with these charges and in his absence Vice President Christina Shane will be taking over.
OPP has not confirmed the details of these charges at this point, but it has been reported that White will appear in court in Bracebridge on September 27th.
