Hamilton man charged after swimmer is struck by a boat in Muskoka

A Hamilton man is facing serious charges after an incident on Lake Muskoka.
On Friday evening, a man swimming in the lake near Browning Island was hit by a boat after it left a boat house and turned around.
The boat struck his arm and head, but the man was able to swim to shore where was picked up by paramedics.
He was eventually airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries.
Sixty-eight-year-old James Unsworth was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm.
He will appear in court in Bracebridge on August 30th.
Police are still looking for more details from this incident.
