The Fire Danger Rating remains high and the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department says it will not change this weekend.
With the high rating, small open fires are allowed in rural areas. Temperatures are expected to range between 19 and 24 degrees over the weekend and Fire Chief Steve Hernen says the cooler conditions will not change the rating.
Hernen says although fireworks are allowed this weekend in most municipalities in Muskoka, everyone is asked to shoot them in a safe place like over the water.
