Barrie Police are canvasing a neighbourhood in the city searching for an 11-year-old boy.
On Monday evening, the father of Cameron Abernethy reported to police that his son had gone missing.
Abernethy left his father’s home that morning in the south-east end of Barrie.
Police have been using K9 units to help search for the missing preteen.

Abernethy is described as white, five foot three, 95 pounds with light brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black German soccer jersey, black shorts with a red trim a Chicago baseball hat and red Adidas shoes.
