A Bracebridge woman is saying thank you to residents across Muskoka for helping bring the remains of her brother home.
On Sunday, Deedra O’Donnell, the pregnant widow or Joseph O’Donnell, arrived in Canada, and the remains of Joseph are expected to arrive today or tomorrow.
Last week, his body was discovered in their home in Ukraine.
Joseph’s sister Jodi O’Donnell is thanking residents for their support both financially and emotionally.

She started a GoFundMe account to help cover costs of her brother’s repatriation to Canada, as well as costs associated with his Deedra’s pregnancy.
According to his sister, Joseph suffered from mental health issues up until the time of his death.
