The Town of Huntsville is still working on leasing the washrooms in the Chamber of Commerce building.
During Tuesday night’s regular council meeting, staff agreed to add two portable washrooms in River Mill Park until a deal can be completed. Last month, the town was working with the real estate agency Coldwell Banker to lease the facilities for $700 per month.
The washrooms will be located in the corner of the park and will include one wheelchair accessible porta potty.
