Syrian Refugee supporters in Muskoka calling for answers on bottlenecked applications

A group of Syrian Refugee supporters have reached out to their local federal government representative.
Last week, reps from various fundraising groups across Muskoka came together to meet with Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement.
The groups, representing about 30 Syrian refugees, are concerned about the sudden bottleneck in the process of approving these refugees to come to Canada.
According to the group, Clement listened intently and promised to bring their concerns to the Conservative Immigration critic Michelle Rempel.
Syrian Refugees Gravenhurst is the only organization that has successfully brought a family to Muskoka.
