Public washrooms inside the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce building may be leased to the town.
The Town of Huntsville is looking at leasing the facilities once the building becomes vacant at the end of the month. At the regular council meeting last week, town officials agreed to negotiate a lease with real estate agency Coldwell Banker. The deal would involve the town leasing the washrooms at 8 West Street for one year at $700 per month.
Negotiations are expected to continue for the next few weeks and an agreement will be brought to council on May 24th.
