Nearly 4,000 residents from Dorset all the way to Sundridge are without power this morning.
Hydro One is reporting the cause is under investigation and crews have been dispatched.
Currently, the estimated time of restoration stands at around noon today.
For residents without power in and around the Burk’s Falls area, the community has opened the arena as a warming station.
