A near century-old gas station outside of Bracebridge will be torn down next week.
Town of Bracebridge staff received complaints about the condition of the Lone Pine gas station last year.
Chief Building Official Tom Hookings says following a professional assessment of the building, the town found it was beyond repair.
Hydro One and town crews will work together Tuesday morning to get the electrical wiring removed from the building.
Following that, the demolition of the structure will begin.
