OPP warning drivers to stay home if you don’t need to travel

Whiteout and slippery conditions are keeping OPP very busy today around the Muskoka region.

Constable Samantha Bigley with the Bracebridge OPP says officers have been responding to multiple accidents since early this morning.

Bigley says if you don’t need to travel today you should consider staying home.

Environment Canada is reporting that snow squalls are expected to continue throughout the day in the region.

The weather service predicts the snow will fall at rate of 10 centimeters per six hours.
