A snow squall watch has been upgraded to a warning for the Muskoka and Parry Sound areas.
Environment Canada is warning intense bands of lake effect flurriesĀ could lead to some very heavy snowfall in a short amount of time.
The weather service is predicting we could see up to 10 centimeters of snow fall over a six-hour period.
The snow squall bands are expected to slowly push across the region throughout the day before moving on.
