The Gravenhurst Winter Carnival will be kicking off on Family Day with a puck drop.
The second annual Graeme Murray Road Hockey Event will be running at the Graeme Murray Arena on Monday.
Recreation Arts and Culture Program Assistant Bryan White says everyone is invited to attend and play.
White says all you need to register for the event is a hockey stick and you’ll be able to play in one of the three games.
The registration table will be set up in the back parking lot of the arena and the games will run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
There will also be a number of free events at the YMCA throughout the day:
- 10:00am – 12:00pm: Crafts with Vanessa
- 10:30am – 12:00pm: Pancakes
- 10:30am – 12:00pm: Adult lane swim and adult rec swim
- 10:35am – 11:15am: Family boot-camp
- 11:00am – 3:00pm: Cookie decorating with Habitat for Humanity
- 11:30am – 12:00pm: Family yoga
- 12:00pm – 2:00pm: Free public skating
- 12:15pm – 4:30pm: Open gym
- 12:15pm – 4:30pm: Open swim
