Environment Canada says a massive cold front is on its way.
Officials say starting Friday night temperatures will drop down to minus 30. This has been an unusual winter , as we have seen warmer than normal temperatures. Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says we should be expecting those usual February chills we are all used to in years past.
He says the cold weather will continue all day Saturday.
He advises car owners to plug your vehicle in if it needs to be. The cold weather will not give the battery enough energy to start up the engine.
