Central Muskoka Community Syrian Relief will be presenting new details on its fundraising campaign in an upcoming information session.
Linda Brouillette with the committee says they have recently been matched with two families.
She says one is a family of five and the other a family of six.
The committee agreed to put in the application to sponsor these two families.
They are now waiting for a response from both families to see if their invitation to move to Bracebridge has been accepted.
Committee members will be presenting this information, their current fundraising status and more at the information night on February 19th.
The meeting starts at 7:00pm at the Rotary Centre for Youth in Bracebridge and anyone interested is invited to attend.
There will be a second meeting held in Port Carling, but the date has not been set.
