Graduate students offered grant to research in Muskoka River Watershed

Graduate students interested in conducting research in the Muskoka River Watershed have an opportunity to apply for a local grant.
The Muskoka Summit on the Environment is offering a grant of $7,500 to interested students.
In 2014 PhD candidate Sarah Hasnain from Queens University was awarded the research grant for her study into the effect of the spiny water flea invasion in Muskoka.
Applications for the grant will be accepted until February 26th.
The MSE is accepting donations to allow local high school students to attend the 2016 Muskoka Summit.
A $50 donation will give a student a chance to experience the summit for free.
