A local ballet school is dancing to help make a difference in the lives of women.
During the Muskoka run of the eventĀ One Billion Rising, dancers from the Bracebridge School of Ballet will be making a performance.
Assistant to the Artistic Director Shannon Morrison says her students will be joining staff and students at Nipissing to dance together.
A group of girls and boys between the ages of 12 and 17 from the dance school will be helping teach the dance to others.
One Billion Rising kicks off this Saturday at the Muskoka campus of Nipissing University at 4:30pm.
