As many residents are gearing up to begin their Christmas shopping, the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce would like shoppers to consider buying local.
Executive Director, Brenda Rhodes, says that you don’t need to visit the big box stores when everything you are looking for is available locally.
Rhodes says it has been a good year for local businesses with summer especially bringing in a lot of traffic due to some major events like What’s Cooking Bracebridge and SantaFest.
She says the chamber is looking forward to the economic benefits of upcoming events such as the Festival of Lights next week and Fire and Ice in January.
