Huntsville Public Library Expands With Purchase of Building

The former Mac’s convenience store on Minerva Street in Huntsville is now owned by the Town of Huntsville.

The building was purchased by the Huntsville Library Board for $210,000 and the by-law was passed last night during a closed session at council for the library to expand. Councillors say the property was purchased by the town but the Library will be paying for all of the fees.

There has been no word on what the Library has planned for the area.
