The South Muskoka Shield will be hosting a new annual event that recognizes emergency workers who suffer from PTSD.
The second annual Brad Pearsall night kicks off at the Gravenhurst Centennial Arena on Friday.
Two dollars from every ticket is donated to Tema Conter Memorial Trust Fund which helps front-line workers with PTSD.
The annual event is in memory of Pearsall who worked with the Bracebridge OPP detachment and was an avid hockey fan.
Pearsell passed away from a heart attack in March 2014.
The Shield will be hosting Temiscaming with the game kicking off at 8:00pm.
