Bracebridge council went through the final motions to approve the Winter Village Skating Trail in Memorial Park.
The idea was originally proposed by resident Mike Jefford who wanted to bring some winter fun to the town.
Council approved $50,000 from the Town’s Public Works budget to pay for upgrades to the park and necessary equipment to set up the skate trail.
Jefford says they are now looking at getting vendors in as well.
