Canadian Action candidate weighs in on Parry Sound Muskoka broadband issue

There is a lot of talk still about faster internet in Parry Sound and Muskoka from candidates in the upcoming federal election.  So far there have been promises to have faster service set up in town, but rural areas are still left out.  Canadian Action party candidate Gordie Merton says there needs to be more money funnelled into this project.
Merton says the only way to fund projects like faster internet is to restore the National Bank of Canada.
He says a lot of projects were built using the bank in the past, including the 401 and the Saint Lawrence Seaway.
Merton will run against candidates Tony Clement, Trisha Cowie, Glen Hodgson and Al Smith for the riding of Parry Sound Muskoka in the upcoming election on October 19th.
