Three Mile Lake may have levels of blue-green algae, but it may not be affecting the entire lake.
A Stewardship official on Three Mile Lake reports that samples taken from a dock on a private beach on the west end of the lake have indicated high levels of blue-green algae.
Robert Fullerton says that the Ministry of Environment confirmed the reports but also stated this does not indicate the entire lake is contaminated.
He says the lake is safe to swim in at this time.
