Things are becoming greener around council and their plan for the Brunel Locks.
The town has agreed to drop their land lease and instead invest $200,000 into the Green Bug- hydro electric plan at the locks.
The announcement made at council would also see an increase in revenue. The deal is still far from over as an illustration has to be done by an engineer, and contracts must be reviewed and finalized.
