The OPP is reminding off-road drivers to make every smart ride, a safe ride.
According to police, there have been three deaths in the province this year. ATV’s are banned from riding on all roadways unless the municipality has passed a by-law.
Drivers must remember the operator must drive the ATV on the far right hand of the roadway, helmets are always implemented when riding, and 20 kilometers an hour is the maximum speed with roads posted at 50 kilometers or less.
