The District of Muskoka will be closing down Muskoka Road 17 in Gravenhurst for several improvements .
Closures between Thain Street East and Palmer Street will start today and will continue until Labour Day. Construction will include fixing sidewalks, and to create an area for storm water control.
Detour signage will be in place until the area is cleared, here is a map showing ways around the area. Crews will make an effort to open this road on weekends, to accommodate the increased traffic expected through the area.
