The South Muskoka Hospital Foundation announced $1 million remains to be raised to upgrade technology at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site in Bracebridge.
The announcement was held last night at Kirrie Glen Golf Club at the official launch of the “Get Better” capital campaign.
The goal for the campaign is to reach $6.5 million.
Upgrades from the money raised will go towards diagnostic imaging, installing an electronic health record system, automating pharmacy operations and to expand video-conferencing so that patients and medical teams can access better specialists.
