Huntsville council approves Environmental Assessment for Hunter’s Bay Trail expansion

The Town of Huntsville is only committing to an Environmental Assessment and design for the Hunter’s Bay Trail expansion. Tulloch Engineering has been awarded the job which is going to cost $26,000. The money is going to be taken out of the Pan AM Legacy Fund. There was further discussion on whether council was going to move forward with expanding the trail once the EA was done. Some councillors had said that project might need to be put on hold until the $3-million deficit was dealt with.
