A 23 year old Bracebridge man faces an impaired driving charge after several complaints were made to police about reckless driving. Barrie OPP say the complaints came in Saturday night about a white, highly modified pickup truck that was seen in the Lakeshore/Line 9 South area of Oro-Medonte.  Besides the reckless driving, residents reported that the white raised pickup had a very loud exhaust system.
Police found the vehicle and charged the driver for having too much alcohol in his system. The accused wll appear in Barrie Court on May 11th. The driver also received a 90 day licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded for 7 days.
