French President expects no survivors following passenger plane crash in French Alps

French President Francois Hollande has said no survivors are expected following the crash of an A-3-20 Airbus passenger plane in the French Alps this morning.  More than 140 people were on board the plane, which reportedly sent a distress signal before disappearing from radar just before 11am local time.  The plane is owned by budget airline Germanwings.  Information is still coming in, we’ll let you know the latest as it becomes available.
