THIS JUST IN: Accused in Huntsville IDA armed robbery to appear in Bracebridge bail court again tomorrow

The accused in the Huntsville IDA armed robbery case is being remanded in custody overnight for a bail hearing tomorrow in Bracebridge. 23 year old Tristan Taylor of Perry Township appeared in Bracebridge court today after he was arrested yesterday in the Burk’s Falls/Novar area. Taylor has a history that already includes jail time. In 2009 he was sentenced to six months for drug offenses after a search of his then Huntsville home discovered a quarter pound of marijuana, 100 oxycontin tablets, and a shotgun hidden underneath a couch. Taylor was arrested in the Novar/Burk’s Falls area Wednesday afternoon and now stands charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Assault with a Weapon and Disguise with Intent. The investigation is continuing. Taylor stands charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Assault with a Weapon and Disguise with Intent. No word yet on why its been put over to tomorrow.
