Snowmobile collision in Carling Township leaves one woman dead

A 31-year-old woman from Etobicoke has died following a snowmobile crash in Carling Township. West Parry Sound OPP was called to a single snowmobile collision yesterday afternoon on OFSC Trail 400 near 408 where a snowmobile struck a tree. The fire department in Carling and District EMS also responded and transported the driver to West Parry Sound Health Centre where she was later pronounced dead. Police are making sure next of kin is notified before releasing the name of the driver. The trail remains closed while officers continue to investigate.
