MAHC promises no delays in hospital services during CCAC strike

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare assures patients and visitors should not experience any disruptions during the Community Care Access Centres strike. MAHC says Ontario Nurses’ Association members may be picketing in front of the two hospitals. It has been confirmed care coordinators are picketing today at the Huntsville Hospital site. CEO Natalie Bubela says regular hospital services are being maintained as the labour disruption is not related to any matter between MAHC and ONA members employed by MAHC. She says the protesters should not affect your access to the hospital as you have a right to cross a picket line. Care coordinators were officially on strike as of midnight over wage disputes with their employers.
