South River man faces theft charges

Police have charged a South River man with theft. A theft compliant that happened on Jan. 19 was called into Almaguin Highlands OPP from a Lount Township business. An investigation led police to a 27-year-old and last week, officers arrested and charged the man with theft under $5000 and driving while under suspension. He’ll face those charges in a Sundridge court Feb. 26.
