Tobogganing now legal at Port Sydney Community Centre

You are now legally allowed to toboggan at the Port Sydney Community Centre. Huntsville Councillor Chris Zanetti asked council to have tobogganing at the community centre exempt from the bylaw that forbids it. Zanetti says the kids are using the hill anyway and it would be a shame to take that away. He also wanted to allow skiing and snowboarding, but the motion was amended and passed for tobogganing only. This exemption will run until April 30, 2015 when staff can come up with the proper maintenance and signage program for the area.
