A second entrance to Hanes Road is going to be discussed at Huntsville’s regular council meeting tonight. At last month’s council meeting, the motion to add the second entrance was defeated. Some councillors wanted more time to review the plan, while others thought a proper traffic study hadn’t been done. Since the, the Planning Committee has approved the entrance with conditions. Council will vote on it tonight.
Council will also hear a deputation from the Muskoka Animation Studio. The studio is asking council to use two rooms at the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment. Meeting starts at 6 p.m. in council chambers.
